Meet Marika
Marika Olson is a native southern Californian with over ten years of experience in design. After working at a high-end design firm in Corona del Mar, Marika found her passion for high end residential interiors. After she and her husband welcomed their first child in 2020, Marika Olson Interiors organically grew from helping family and friends to designing for clients throughout the country. During her career, Marika has created carefully curated spaces with a focus on relaxed and refined living.

Kristen Hockenbury
Born and raised in Orange County, Kristen carries degrees from both Chapman University and Interior Designers Institute. She brings ten years of event management experience and over six years in interior design. Outside of the studio, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Blake, and children, Weston and Alice.
Senior Designer
Originally from Wisconsin, Lauren relocated to Orange County five years ago and has since immersed herself in the creative design and marketing space. Lauren has an AA in Marketing and Interior Design. Her background spans interior design, fashion development and branding. She is passionate about transforming ideas into visually compelling spaces.

Malia grew up local to Newport Beach and competed in competitive gymnastic during her childhood. After retiring from gymnastics, she knew she wanted to practice Interior Design. She received her AA in Interior Design and has since pursued her love of design.

Remi was born and raised in Southern California. She graduated with an Interior Design degree and has a passion for creating light, airy, and timeless spaces, reflecting her upbringing in Orange County. Remi enjoys being active, spending time with family, and being creative.
